RESHEDULED Pizza Pizzazz - Wednesday 5/8
Student Age Range: 2nd-4th grade
Date: Wednesday, 5/8 RESHEDULED!
Time: 1-3 pm at King Girls Kitchen (26 Saxon Ln, Jericho)
Homemade pizza is a snap! Students will have the chance to make their own pizza crust & toppings and create their own custom pizza. We will explore how flavor combinations and ingredients work together and just how varied pizza can be!
Students will learn:
How to make a yeasted pizza crust
Tips & tricks for shaping pizza dough
How to get crispy crust & even cooking in a regular home oven
What flavor combos they like!
Kids will bring home some of their creations to enjoy later or share with their families!
Students are able to ride the bus directly from school on early dismissal Wednesdays. They may be dropped off as early as 12:45 to make it easy on scheduling. Class size is limited to 10 students.

About the Instructor:
Elizabeth King is a certified middle school educator. She is passionate about helping kids (and adults!) feel comfortable, happy and connected in the kitchen. She uses local ingredients as much as possible for the best flavor, nourishment, and connection to our shared community. Classes are designed to be hands on and FUN! It is our hope that by learning culinary skills, students will feel empowered & confident and will learn to love good food at an early age.
